Born in Brooklyn, raised on Long Island, Lois has lived on Manhattan's east side for over thirty years. She has had a residence in Juno Beach, Florida and owned a home in Bridgehampton for over twenty years. Lois brings empathy to the real estate process. "I've been a Buyer, Seller, Investor, Tenant and Landlord!"
Having raised a daughter in Manhattan, Lois is familiar with the New York City schools. She has had first hand experience with New York City's higher education, holding a BA from Marymount Manhattan and an MBA from Pace University.
Before joining Douglas Elliman, Lois worked on a team at another firm where she received "invaluable on the job training skills". Previous to that, she held various positions at law firms, sold advertising, worked in relationship management at a hedge fund and was a personal shopper in high end luxury goods.
"What differentiates one broker from the next is exactly the same as the differentiation in every other environment I've worked in--product knowledge and the level of care/customer service." Never compromising honesty and integrity, Lois negotiates the best price for buyers, sellers, renters, landlords and investors with relentless enthusiasm. "I don't take being a trusted advisor lightly so that's how I show my appreciation for the faith customers/clients have in me." Persistence and drive toward fulfilling dreams and goals, she makes the process a smooth, comfortable, enjoyable experience.
Lois has worked with first time buyers, sellers, empty-nesters, growing families and investors. "Assessing the various different needs and helping with the solutions is what makes the job of a real estate agent incredibly rewarding and interesting."
